WANDA is proud to partner with the SparkPoint Center at City College of San Francisco (CCSF) Basic Needs Center, located on the Ocean campus. SparkPoint CCSF ensures that enrolled students — particularly low and no-income credit and noncredit CCSF students — have access to essential resources and opportunities to thrive. Their trauma-informed team provides holistic support in Basic Needs, Employment & Education, and Financial Support, creating an inclusive, student-centered environment.
Together, WANDA and SparkPoint CCSF are piloting a financial empowerment program tailored for up to 15 single student mothers balancing education, work, and caregiving. During intake, participants shared their excitement:
- “Excited for the future & what this program can help me achieve and learn.”
- “I’m so grateful for this opportunity to complete my education and better manage my finances. Thanks.”
- “I think this program sounds like an amazing opportunity. Thank you.”
- “I’m excited to get a hold of and have more intentionality on bills, financial planning, and being guided through the process.”
By centering student voices, WANDA + SparkPoint CCSF collaboration is more than a partnership — it’s a pathway to stability, opportunity, and long-term success for CCSF student mothers.
