WANDA (Women and Allies) is dedicated to building economic justice for single mothers and their families through education, investment, empowerment, and collaboration with community-based nonprofits. We recognize that breaking the cycle of poverty requires various supports, tangible skills, resources, self-investment, and perseverance through a growth mindset. In 2023, WANDA underwent a transformative year, becoming an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, offering our full curriculum in Spanish, and enrolling 40% more women.
