Danika Dellor, President and CEO
Danika Dellor, the Executive Director of WANDA, brings a wealth of executive and fundraising experience accumulated over many years working with various growth-based nonprofit organizations. Her track record includes cultivating and sustaining philanthropic relations with foundations, donors, government agencies, and civic organizations. Danika’s expertise extends to establishing organizational policy, strategy, and program design in the fields of education, arts, health, and human services.
As a native San Franciscan, Danika’s personal background adds a profound connection to her work in fulfilling WANDA’s mission. Raised by a single mother, she intimately understands many of the challenges faced by the communities WANDA serves. This firsthand experience fuels her dedication and commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of mothers and children through WANDA’s initiatives.
Jennifer Advani, Director of Programs
Jennifer Advani has successfully built recruitment and retainment strategies and cultivated and stewarded key collaborations with a diverse portfolio of community partners. She is a dedicated professional, directly engaging and supporting our participants and supporting them throughout their program journey. Jennifer is the lead in program evaluation and enhancement working with WANDA’s strategic committees, alumnae, and other collaborators to strengthen and communicate outcomes.
Prior to WANDA, Jennifer worked in program and project management for local nonprofits involved in a variety of causes, including literacy, medical research, and education for more than a decade. Her expertise in assessing program effectiveness has allowed her to implement strategic improvements, ensuring maximum impact.
Blanca Medina, Manager, Education and Partner Outreach
Blanca Medina joins WANDA as its Manager, Education and Partner Outreach. As a WANDA alumna, Blanca facilitated our new Financial Literacy class focused on budgeting, and has been our lead faculty for our two-year partnership with MidPen Housing. In this role, Blanca will teach the majority of WANDA’s bilingual curriculum and support our local partnership efforts with mission-aligned nonprofits and affordable housing agencies. Charisse Fontes, Curriculum Facilitator
In 2014, Charisse Fontes graduated from the WANDA program and now teaches one of our most popular classes called "Traditions." In Traditions, WANDA offers single mothers the opportunity to explore how daily, weekly, and monthly traditions might serve to strengthen the bonds within their family. Participants explore their own values, their vision for traditions in their family life, and the meaning and purpose associated with possible traditions and giving back. Jessica Lorenzo, Cohort Facilitator
Longtime volunteer and cohort facilitator, Jessica Lorenzo has been a loyal ally of WANDA's for many years. She supported facilitation for our partnership cohorts and is the lead on driving networking and social events for WANDA moms. Learn more about Jessica and her accomplishments >>
