Last year, WANDA welcomed our newest member of the Governance Council (GC), Diane Russell.
Diane was an executive at Charles Schwab for over 23 years, holding various roles primarily in product management. Her most recent role was leading the team responsible for Schwab’s website and mobile apps. Prior to Schwab, Diane worked in government, first as a Congressional aide for a subcommittee of the House Energy and Commerce Committee and then as a Policy Advisor to the Governor of New Jersey. She served for many years on the board of Building Futures Now, an organization supporting youth in East Palo Alto, which merged with Peninsula Bridge in 2017. She was also a board member of Rebuilding Together San Francisco and served in various roles supporting her daughters’ schools. Diane received a BA from Smith College and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. Diane has a longstanding commitment to supporting women and children and believes strongly in WANDA’s mission to help low income single mothers achieve socioeconomic mobility.
